The FDC3125 molded case circuit breaker is designed and manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer and it is intended for applications where circuit protection is of essential value. The circuit breakers of this type are used for low-voltage power distribution systems in order to provide the necessary protection for the electrical components of the system. The use of such devices will reduce the risk of short circuits, current overloads, and other similar electrical irregularities. The molded case circuit breakers from this product family provide top-notch solutions that will reduce the usage of energy throughout the mechanical system or factory, minimize the costs, protect the users’ equipment, and enable the proper power continuity without any disruption or unwanted downtime.
The FDC3125 circuit breaker comes from Eaton’s C Series and it represents a complete circuit breaker with an F Frame and load side terminals. The FDC3125 is constructed so that the users can see the type of circuit breaker that it is, the number of poles that the circuit breaker has, and the amperage rating of the circuit breaker easily. The FD3125 is an FD type of circuit breaker with 3 poles and an amperage of 125 Amps. The voltage rating of this circuit protection device is 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC while its operating frequency rating is 50 to 60 Hertz. Besides that, the FD3125 circuit breaker has fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip types and an interrupt rating of 200 kAIC at 240 Volts AC or one of 100 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. This UL listed and certified circuit breaker has a length of 8.5 centimeters (3.38 inches), a height of 10.49 centimeters (4.13 inches), and a width of 10.49 centimeters (4.13 inches).
