The Cutler-Hammer HFD2150 is a high-performance circuit protection mold-case circuit-breaker designed specifically for low voltage systems. The HFD2150 is capable of protecting conductors from overloads and short-circuits caused by other connected apparatus and motors quite effectively. The HFD2150 has a wide range of applications not limited to industrial settings, including maritime applications. Highly modifiable for specific machinery and tasks, the HFD2150 come with a varied set of different breaker options for different application purposes. For greater versatility, the HFD2150 comes with calibration options suitable for temperatures below 40 degree Celsius and frequencies below 50 to 60 Hertz. The input and output power ratings of the HFD2150 are 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC respectively. At 400 Volts AC, the HFD2150 has an interruption rating of 65 kAIC. The HFD2150 comes with a load terminal by default, but it can also support line terminals, which has to be specified in order.
Thanks to the high-performance line and load terminals, the HFD2150 can work across different ranges of current ratings and can support multiple types of wiring not present in most other molded circuit breakers in the market. The HFD2150 is a two pole molded-case circuit-breaker with non-interchangeable trips. The HFD2150 supports an F-frame design and is a type HFD circuit-breaker which comes with a thermal-magnetic trip. It also comes with a control wire terminal kit as well as multiwall connectors as well as terminal shields. The device is guarded properly with cylinder locks, walking beam interlocks and well as terminal end covers. The HFD2150 comes with a one year warranty.
