About GD2050

The GD2050 is a C Series molded case circuit breaker designed and manufactured by the Eaton Corporation (formerly Cutler-Hammer). It is a 2-pole 50 Amps rated circuit breaker with certificates for UL, CSA, and IEC rated applications. The Eaton GD2050 provides faster reactions, a better design, and improved mechanical reliability in considerably less space than other circuit breakers on the market. It is a device with a non-interchangeable thermal-magnetic trip unit. The GD2050 also features a maximum voltage of 480 Volts AC and a kAIC rating of 14 kAIC at that maximum voltage. The device is applicable for DC overcurrent protection too, in up to 250 Volts DC rated systems. The module has shipping dimensions of 4.88 inches x 2.63 inches x 2.00 inches (124 millimeters x 67 millimeters x 51 millimeters).

The Eaton Cutler-Hammer GD2050 is an overcurrent and short-circuit protective device that opens the contacts automatically in the case of these failures in the electrical circuits.
