The Eaton GDB2015 is a molded case circuit breaker that has been manufactured by the Eaton Cutler-Hammer company. The Cutler-Hammer GDB2015 circuit breaker is part of the GDB Type Series C of the Eaton complete molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer GDB2015 circuit breaker feature a switch with a fixed magnetic trip type, 2 poles, 15 Amps of current, a 480 Volts AC voltage rating at 50 to 60 Hertz frequency, 14 kAIC of interrupting rating at 480 Volts AC, and it is contained and protected in a G Frame type of enclosure. The Cutler-Hammer GDB2015 circuit breaker is mounted with a rotary handle mechanism that has a handle which prevents the Cutler-Hammer GDB2015 circuit breaker from turning on while the handle is in the off position, and the handle also shows the on, off, tripped, or reset statuses of the circuit breaker.
The international markings for the on (I) and the off (O) positions are also included in the circuit breaker’s universal rotary handle mechanism. The universal rotary handle mechanisms for the Cutler-Hammer GDB2015 circuit breaker can be operated by hand while the door is open or "locked off." The Cutler-Hammer GDB2015 circuit breaker rotor mechanism also consists of a low voltage operating device and a shaft that can be reduced to several different lengths. The Cutler-Hammer GDB2015 circuit breaker’s high-performance rotary handle mechanism utilizes a simple but a robust technique for easy mounting and for smooth operation. The circuit breaker’s shunt trip components may be factory installed or field installed for the Cutler-Hammer GDB2015 circuit breaker’s protection.
