The GHB1030 from Eaton is a Series C molded-case circuit breaker rated for 30 Amps of current. Eaton GHB circuit breakers are available in current ratings from 15 to 100 Amps continuous. Only Eaton GHB circuit breakers can be used with Power Line 2 Type Panelboard from Eaton. The voltage rating of the GHB1030 is 277 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC. The current rating of the breaker is 30 Amps and the frequency rating is 50/60 Hertz. At 277 Volts AC, it is rated for 14 kAIC. The GHB1030 is a single-pole device and it uses fixed magnetic and fixed thermal circuit tripping. The trip unit is non-interchangeable. Both line and load terminals are available on the device.
Available accessories include the auxiliary switch, shunt trip, pad-lockable handle, lock dog, alarm/lockout switch, and the under-voltage release mechanism. The GHB1030 complies with the Federal Specifications Classification W-C375B and it is UL listed. The UL standard requires factory installation of internal accessories. However, if a UL listing is not required and the local codes permit it, then the installation of internal accessories can be carried out in the field. To prevent death or injury to personnel and damage to property, installation, and maintenance of the GHB1030 should always be performed with the electrical power in the off state. Furthermore, local regulations and general safety precautions should also be followed. The GHB1030 is a G-frame circuit breaker. The dimensions of the GHB1030 are 6.2 x 2 x 3.6 inches. Its weight is 0.65 pounds.
