The GHCGFEP1030 is a single-pole molded case circuit breaker from Eaton/Cutler-Hammer/Westinghouse. The circuit breaker has a G frame size, and it is a GHC breaker in the Series C family of Westinghouse circuit breakers. The GHCGFEP1030 has its operating frequency capped at between 50 and 60 Hertz. Note that the GHCGFEP1030 is a complete breaker that is designed and manufactured purposely to be used in industrial applications. The circuit breaker uses a fixed thermal and a fixed magnetic type of trip unit to guard systems against short circuits, over-voltages, under-voltages, and other factors that may harm the components in a system.
The Cutler-Hammer GHCGFEP1030 has its current rating capped at 30 Amps. Additionally, the GHCGFEP1030 has a single pole and it is carefully manufactured to provide protection to an industrial system powered from a single-phase power source. The GHCGFEP1030 weighs 1.5 pounds and it has the Underwriters Laboratories (UL 489) certification. For the interrupt rating, the GHCGFEP1030 has a 14 Kilo Amperes Interrupt Capacity when installed in a system with an operating Voltage of 277 Volts AC. In addition to operating at 277 Volts AC, the GHCGFEP1030 has the power required to operate at 480 Volts AC, and when a DC power source is used, the GHCGFEP1030 can accommodate a voltage of between 125 Volts DC and 250 Volts DC. The Westinghouse GHCGFEP1030 has a non-interchangeable trip unit. Additionally, the GHCGFEP1030 features a 30 milliamps ground fault circuit protector. The circuit breaker has load side lug terminals. The GHCGFEP1030 has a maximum temperature rating of 40 degrees Celsius.
