The Eaton HKD2400F is a complete molded case circuit breaker. It is an HKD type of circuit breaker with a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz. The module features the frame-only frame type and it has a voltage rating of 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC. The amperage rating for the HKD2400F is 400 Amps and it features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip type. It is a 2-pole circuit breaker that weighs 8.95 pounds and comes with shipping dimensions of a width of 5.5 inches, a height of 5.5 inches, and a length of 4.1 inches. The circuit breaker features the UL listing and it comes with a valid warranty for 1 year with from the date of installation and one of 18 months from the date of shipment.
The HKD2400F has an interrupt rating of 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and it also features one of 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. The HKD2400F provides an increased level of performance compared to other circuit breakers. The module takes up less space compared to the other circuit breakers. It features the field-fit accessories with common accessories through a 360 Amp current. The HKD2400F comes with great flexibility and it has an outstanding performance level. The circuit breaker is operated through a high-speed blow-open action by using the electromechanical forces. The circuit breakers classified under the Eaton C Series come as current limiting circuit breakers as a result of the high-repulsion contact arrangement. This also includes the use of arc-extinguishing technology. The Eaton circuit breakers feature complete line current limiting breakers.
