The Cutler-Hammer KD3200 is a 3-pole Type KD Thermal-magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by the Eaton Corporation. It has ratings of 600 Volts AC, 200 Amps continuous voltage, 65 kA at 600 Volts AC of interrupting capacity, a K-frame, and it weighs 4.989 kilograms. This drive is part of the Series C group of the Cutler-Hammer circuit breakers and it is suitable for reverse feedback use and general purpose applications for machinery OEMs and electrical OEMs as well as branch and main circuit protection. The KD3200 circuit breaker is ideal for use with loads requiring 3-phase symmetrical voltage and its high interrupting capacity provides high-performance circuit overload or fault protection for industrial and field equipment.
It incorporates easily adjustable magnetic trip units that can be configured using a screwdriver and its switch handle clearly indicates the trip, on, or off status of the circuit breaker. The KD3200 circuit breaker does not automatically close the circuit after it trips, so it has to be manually switched on after a trip. This circuit breaker can be connected to the circuit through its 3 line terminals and 3 load terminals with copper or aluminum conductors that meet its rating and it is designed to remain operational for many years without requiring maintenance or replacement. Its glass-polyester casing protects it from damage which might result from exposure to moisture and other elements. Note that connecting loads that are above the rating of the KD3200 circuit breaker to it can cause damage to it or to the connected equipment.
