The Eaton HLD3300 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker. The circuit breaker is specifically designed and manufactured to provide circuit protection where the circuits have a maximum voltage of 600 Volts AC. Being a 3-pole circuit breaker, the HLD3300 is usable in 3-phase powered systems. The HLD3300 allows for a feed-thru connection and it has a fixed thermal and a fixed magnetic trip unit. Note that the trip unit is interchangeable only when the HLD3300 is ordered in its individual components. When factory sealed, the entire circuit breaker is unable to accept user replaceable parts. When the HLD3300 is factory sealed, it can be used for reverse feed use. The circuit breaker has a maximum current rating of 300 Amps and it belongs to Eaton Cutler-Hammer’s Series C molded case subgroup of circuit breakers.
The HLD3300 has an L-Frame size and its trip unit supports the LI Long-Time and instantaneous functions. The line and load terminals provided by the HLD3300 are made of aluminum. Therefore, when installing the circuit breaker, aluminum or copper cables should be used, depending on the sensitivity of the protected circuit. The Cutler-Hammer HLD3300 complete molded case circuit breaker operates at a frequency range of 50 and 60 Hertz. Note that L-framed circuit breakers from Eaton, including the HLD3300, are HACR rated. They are also CE marked. The HLD3300 is rated to be used in industrial environments with a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The interrupt rating for the HLD3300 stands at 65 Kiloamps interrupt capacity at 480 Volts AC.
