The LDB3600 is a 3-pole complete circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton. Its rating is 600 amps, 600 Volts AC and 250 volts DC. Its performance at 480 Volts AC is rated at 35 kAIC of interrupting capacity and 50 to 60 Hertz frequency. It measures 8.25 x 8.25 x 8.25 inches and it weighs 20 pounds. The LDB3600 circuit breaker is part of Series C of the L Frame Eaton circuit breakers and it combines a number of powerful features that make it the ideal choice for 3-phase applications that require automatic overload, short circuit, or fault current protection. It is typically applied in motor control centers. Each pole of the LDB3600 circuit breaker features aluminum terminals for use with aluminum or copper conductors. Its operating mechanism is a toggle switch that also provides status indication.
Apart from the switch, the LDB3600 circuit breaker features tiny color strips at the side of the switch that indicate its status and it features individually adjustable thermal and thermal-magnetic trip units on each pole to provide highly efficient circuit protection. The LDB3600 circuit breaker provides protection for itself and all connected equipment during operation and it features trip-free action that enables the circuit breaker to trip even when the switch is jammed in the on position. Other circuit breakers and equipment can be mounted side by side with the LDB3600 circuit breaker on panel boards or in confined enclosures to help meet space-saving needs and multiple add-ons can be easily incorporated into it for improved functionality.
