The Eaton Cutler-Hammer LDB3600WK Molded Case Switch is a factory sealed Frame L, Series C switch with a fixed high magnetic trip unit that is used for providing instantaneous trips in applications requiring high capacity main circuit disconnects, like load centers or panelboards. This molded case switch does not provide thermal protection, but it is designed with fixed self-protecting high-magnetic trip settings, and it also does not come with load or line end terminals. The LDB3600WK has a 3-pole wiring configuration that is suitable for single-phase and 3-phase applications, and it has a continuous current rating of 600 Amps.
The Eaton Cutler-Hammer LDB3600WK Molded Case Switch is designed to sustain a maximum fault current of 35 kAIC, and it can be used in applications with a maximum operating voltage of 250 Volts DC or 600 Volts AC. The LDB3600WK has a fixed magnetic trip unit with factory pre-set settings which will instantaneously interrupt all high fault currents by using electromagnets that are set in series with load currents, and the switch is self-protecting within its designated withstand ratings. It is designed to optimally operate below an ambient temperature limit of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) and within a 0 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity range. The LDB3600WK has an average weight of 8.2 kilograms (18 pounds), with approximate dimensions of 209.6 x 273.1 x 103.1 millimeters (8.3 x 10.8 x 4.1 inches), and it is designed to meet the UL, CSA, and IEC standards.
