The LGE3300FAG is a molded case circuit breaker with a fixed thermal adjustable magnetic trip unit from Cutler-Hammer. The circuit breaker has branch circuit protection, an optional electronic trip unit, and a high-speed blow-open action. The LGE3300FAG is 3-poled and its maximum current rating stands at 300 Amps. For the operating voltage, the LGE3300FAG has it capped at 600 Volts AC. The interrupt capacity for the circuit breaker is rated at 35, 65, and 18 kAIC at 480, 240, and 600 Volts AC, respectively. The LGE3300FAG uses an LG frame, it operates at a frequency of between 50 and 60 Hertz, and it has line and load terminals. Having an LG frame and belonging to Series G of the Eaton molded case circuit breakers, the LGE3300FAG allows for common field-fit accessories which ease custom configuration and installation.
For the optimum functioning of the LGE3300FAG, it has to be installed in industrial environments with a temperature rating of 40 degrees Celsius. The circuit breaker is ideal to be mounted on switchboards and I-line panelboards. For the conducting paths, as with other LG framed breakers, the LGE3300FAG has a 750 Volts AC insulation voltage and 690 Volts AC insulation voltage for the auxiliary circuits. Additionally, molded circuit breakers with an LG frame size, like the LGE3300FAG, have a rated impulse withstand voltage of 8 kiloVolts for the main conducting paths and 4 kiloVolts for the auxiliary circuits. When used as an isolating circuit breaker or for motor protection, the LGE3300FAG loses 65 Watts of power at the maximum rated current. The circuit breaker has an opening time (maximum) of 50 milliseconds.
