Eaton Cutler-Hammer is the sole manufacturer of the JGE3090FAG circuit breaker. It is a molded case circuit breaker device. With the JG Frame covering the device, it operates with 90 Amps of current. The JGE3090FAG belongs to the G series of Eaton Cutler-Hammer circuit breakers. Its running voltage has been set at 600 Volts AC or at 250 Volts DC. This is a 3-pole device with a fixed trip type. Interruptions can be made at various stages because it has different voltage ratings. It comes with high interrupting capacity of 65 kA at 240 Volts AC, 25 kA at 480 Volts AC, and 18 kA at 600 Volts AC.
The optimal running frequency is adjustable and it depends on the type of load that is on the device. It comes with optional undervoltage release and an auxiliary switch. It comes with both line and load terminals. The JGE3090FAG comes with various protective features. It has an Arcflash Reduction maintenance system, an interchangeable trip unit, and a trip indicator. There are various alarms which give alerts for high loads and trips, ground faults, and zone selective interlocking. The JGE3090FAG has been certified with the Ul, CSA, and IEC ratings. On the front face of the device, a lever is present to toggle the breaker device on and off. A switch is also present that checks the breaker’s functionality manually. It is used over time to check the tripping function of the device. A 1-year warranty comes with the device and the warranty is valid from the date of the installation.
