The Series G circuit breakers from Eaton Cutler-Hammer are an ideal choice for industrial environments and the Eaton Cutler-Hammer JGE4100FAG is one such circuit breaker from Series G of the Eaton circuit breakers. The JGE4100FAG has a JG frame and it comes inside a molded case made of aluminum. There are 4 poles within this circuit breaker device and they are mostly used with single-phase AC applications. It can also be used for DC devices that use protected poles. This device operates with 100 Amps of current. The thermal trip unit is kept constant while the magnetic trip unit is adjustable. The interrupting capacity has been set at 18 kAIC at 600 Volts AC, at 25 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, and at 65 kAIC for 240 Volts AC. It operates with a voltage rating of 600 Volts AC and one of 250 Volts DC.
The JGE4100FAG is also certified with different ratings which show its ability to meet or exceed several environmental and health standards. It comes with the UL, CSA, and IEC ratings which are global standards. It has passed the CE compliance standards too. This is an industrial grade breaker device and it can be mounted in different locations via a panel mount. The JGE4100FAG comes with a lever on the front side.
