The RGH325036E is a 3-pole, Series G Cutler-Hammer high-interrupting capacity circuit breaker manufactured by the Eaton Corporation. It is rated at 2500 Amps, 690 Volts AC, RG-Frame, and its interrupting capacity is 70 kIAC at 415 Volts AC, and 65 kIAC at 480 Volts AC. It is suitable for providing main and branch circuit, overload, overcurrent, and ground fault protection in different industries and applications such as motor control centers, panelboards, and switchgear. It features a glass-polyester casing and exceptionally fast contacts that improve safety. The built-in Digitrip RMS 310+ electronic trip unit of the RGH325036E circuit breaker allows for the modification of its continuous current rating without replacing the rating plug and it provides accurate RMS sensing which minimizes nuisance trips.
The built-in adjustable ground fault pickup, adjustable ground fault delay, adjustable long and short delay pickup, fixed short delay time, adjustable short delay time, and the adjustable instantaneous trip unit enhances safety by reducing the arc flash through the built-in efficient arc extinguishing technology. The RGH325036E circuit breaker features imperial tapped line and load tapped conductor terminations and it is compatible with many internal and external accessories such as shunt trips, under voltage release mechanisms, and auxiliary switches. Its long delay and thermal memory prevent overheating that results from multiple over-current events that might occur within a short time frame. For the best performance, all the conductors that are connected to the RGH325036E high-interrupting capacity circuit breaker must be tightened properly because failure to do so may result in discoloration, arcing, and nuisance trips.
